2001/573/EC: Council Decision of 23 July 2001 amending Commission Decision 2000/532/EC as regards the list of wastes

This is a technical amendment to the EU waste classification list (European Waste Catalogue) that establishes standardized waste codes and definitions; it is foundational infrastructure for waste management and circular economy policy but does not itself establish EPR, recycled content, repair, or deposit schemes—it enables their implementation by providing uniform waste categorization.
