DIRECTIVE (EU) 2018/850 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 30 May 2018 amending Directive 1999/31/EC on the landfill of waste

Amends landfill directive to mandate separate collection and treatment of bio-waste, diverting organics from landfills to composting/anaerobic digestion, advancing circular economy and biological-cycle waste management infrastructure.
