DIRECTIVE (EU) 2018/852 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 30 May 2018 amending Directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste

Directive 2018/852 amends the packaging waste framework to strengthen EPR obligations, introduce recycled content targets for plastic packaging, enhance labeling requirements, and promote circular economy principles including organics recycling; enacted in 2018 with implementation deadlines through 2030.
