EPA National Recycling Strategy / U.S. National Recycling Goal

Released November 15, 2021, the National Recycling Strategy is EPA's federal roadmap (Part One of a broader circular-economy series) to build a more resilient municipal recycling system, organized around five objectives: improve markets for recycled commodities, increase collection/infrastructure, reduce contamination, enhance policies, and standardize measurement/data. It operationalizes the U.S. National Recycling Goal to reach a 50% recycling rate by 2030. It is guidance/strategy rather than a statute, so no legal full text exists.
