A new Circular Economy Action Plan: For a cleaner and more competitive Europe (COM(2020) 98 final)

The European Commission's flagship circular-economy strategy under the Green Deal. It is the framework roadmap that launched the sustainable-products initiative, the right-to-repair agenda, packaging and plastics reforms, and sector plans for electronics, batteries, textiles and construction. Although a Communication rather than binding law, it is the policy scaffolding under which ESPR, PPWR and the Right to Repair Directive were subsequently adopted, and it sets the EU's circular targets and priorities.
