Streamlining Critical Mineral Permitting Act

Jurisdiction:
United States (federal)
Type:
Other
Last action:
Apr 29, 2025
Bill streamlines permitting for critical mineral extraction facilities under hazardous-waste rules; does not establish or modify producer responsibility, product stewardship, circular economy, right-to-repair, recycled content, deposit return, organics diversion, end-of-life product take-back, decommissioning bonds, or material-leakage/biodiversity outcomes—it is a permitting-process measure outside circular-economy scope.
